This past weekend’s wedding took me up north to Milwaukee for Dana & Todd’s wedding…..

…so much time, soo little to do…..

I’ve seen several best men try to get macho and give their speech/toast from memory, only to have a complete brain lock in front of everyone. Luckily Todd’s best man stored his speech on his phone.

mmmmmm, wedding cake

I thought the middle of October would be good for some fall pictures, but little did I know it would turn out to be 85 degrees……

….the sweaters just look a bit weird considering how hot it was!

…”Bugga” didn’t seem to mind though.

Baby Jack couldn’t seem to figure out what was going on…..

…And then Jack’s cousin Michelle needed her senior pictures taken

The mariachi and salsa bands weren’t the only ones providing the musical entertainment……

This was one of the most colorful wedding cakes I’ve ever seen…..

…Monica was very impressed as well!

Here we go again….Baby Jack wanted to stay up to watch the first game of the Cubs playoff series…..if only he knew what he’s getting himself into being a Cubs fan.

Go BIG

October 2, 2007

I LOVE big prints (and not just the ones of Baby Jack), however one way to get more bang for your buck with large prints is to have them printed on a stretched canvas.

Normally if you order an 11×14 print, you then have to find a 16×20 (or larger) matboard to mount the print in, and then select a frame to hold the matboard. With canvas, the entire size of the piece is comprised of the image (the image can even be wrapped around the edges of the stretcher frame), so you don’t lose any wallspace to the frame and/or the matboard. Canvas prints are also more convenient, they are ready to hang and display upon delivery.

It’s hard to get a sense of the size, but this one is 24×36, proudly on display in Jack’s nursery.

So if you have some empty wall space that’s just begging to host some new artwork, consider ordering your next set of family portraits on canvas.
