I never fully understood why couples get married in the middle of winter, especially in a city like Chicago. However as I’m sitting here typing this post, drinking hot chocolate to stay warm, Lindsey & Joe are now on their honeymoon, sipping cool and colorful drinks decorated with paper umbrellas. I think I now see the appeal of a winter wedding!

This past weekend was my nephew’s first birthday. If you’ve seen the families and kids galleries on my site, you might recognize him as one of my more popular subjects!

Now that I’ve gotten my picture posting issues out of the way thanks to firefox www.firefox.com I can get back to posting. There’s not much point to having a blog about a photography business if you can’t post any pictures, right? For some reason I haven’t been able to post any pictures to my blog using Internet Explorer 7. I push the button to add pictures, and nothing happens! Apparently bloggers picture posting button works with FireFox, so I may have to check that out and give it a try. Stay tuned…..
